Sandeen encompassed so many lessons within their writing. Accepting every part of yourself, loving yourself, the importance of forgiveness, the problem with lying, sticking to your morals, righteousness, just to name a few! Pacing was a little off though

I'm still reading only diverse voices for November. Mandanna was the author who got me back into reading as an adult. Her writing is magically and casts a spell over the reader. I loved this read and will always shout about her from the rooftops!

This book encompassed Korean folklore in a contemporary fantasy with a romantic theme.

The character arcs are stunning.

November is CRPS awareness month. I have it, and now you are aware!

It's completely debilitating. The pain is unrelenting. It never ever stops. It's incurable, and most drs don't even know about it, or don't believe it exists.

It's the most painful condition a human can have and ANYONE can get it

The error was the comma, I'd listed something before Twilight, took it out, and forgot to remove the Oxford comma. Instead it's changing it to AND AND ??

What other programs are we using for spell checkers these days?

I loved this read so much! I was left with a book hangover after, I did not want to move on to the next read. I cannot wait to see where this series goes & to follow along with the growth of Rogans writing talent. This is a fantasy for the exhausted women, the down trodden women.

Heather was furious, spit flew from her mouth as she tore into Akachi, "She's olympias prize whore and she's not even affronted." Akachis head swivelled so fast that Chidi was surprised it didn't snap. Akachis anger grew, her skin started to turn opalescent as it transformed to scales. She was losing control and transforming into her fae form. "If I was affronted," Akachi started, vitriol spewing, "those precious sensibilities of yours would cause your fragile mortal heart to stop beating." Heather would not back down, regardless of the nymph in front of her. She had enough of these things ruining her and her sons life. Whatever Olympia had done, she clearly deserved it and now this whore does too. "I'll send my son to see to you. Don't you dare threaten my life like that. He'll remind you of your place just like he did with Olympia. You're no better than the vermin in the streets." Akachi saw red, insulting her was one thing, but blaming Olympia, insinuating she deserved this, that was one too far. "I promise if that odeius prick you name your son comes to me he won't survive the night"
