I had a conversation with my then-CM Kathleen Murphy about this several years ago. Iirc she said that was basically a negotiation with the neighborhood because of concerns about patrons of the restaurants along Murphy taking up parking along neighborhood streets 😭

I’m not worked up about it, I’m just stating my opinion in the hopes others will take note and perhaps engage in different, more productive behavior.

I’m not suggesting they’re sympathetic. I don’t like what either party is doing here. But Horton had an opportunity to keep his head down and focus on the work, and instead he decided to try to score points on the internet. It’s bad politics & disappointing to see from someone I voted for.
