The problem with most machine-based random number generators is that they’re not TRULY random, so if you need genuine randomness it is sometimes necessary to link your code to an external random process like a physical noise source or the current rate of US tariffs on a given country.

Here’s the backstory: my dad is my best friend and truly a fulcrum of my life. In August 2024, after battling metastatic prostate cancer for 9 years, my dad was diagnosed with Stage 3 pancreatic cancer.

i do not think we can seriously laud the advancements of space, science, and tech without also, in the same breath, acknowledging how they are intimately intertwined with the horror unfolding in Gaza and Lebanon.
