Final Fantasy IX is a timeless classic and one of my favorite entries in the entire series—not just for its heartfelt storytelling or Nobuo Uematsu's sweeping score, but mostly because it features my absolute FAVORITE character in the whole darn series: Vivi. We must protect him at all costs!!😊🫡

And I will venture that it's the last make up FX / puppet extravaganza we will see in our lifetime. Dozens upon dozens of creations- many of them elaborate animatronics were created for this film. We utilized several make up FX studios and gave almost every creature a cameo in which to shine. Sigh

a rose for emily lowkey changed my entire perspective on short stories and introduced me to the genre of southern gothic. Years later, I still challenge myself to read all sorts of genres I wouldn’t usually.
