You're putting words in my post that are not there. Do you honestly believe hope cannot be rebuilt? For many people, hope is indeed rebuilt every day we get knocked down. Oh, and "caving" is what those 8 Dems did, and we objected to it.

Did I say anywhere that I was giving up? Did I say the hope was gone forever? No. Hope can be rebuilt rather swiftly when the desire is there, as it has been for me for decades. For me, though, this is when I take a little time to recharge that hope and determination before forging ahead.

I remember it well... the beginning of the pandemic. There were times that the grocery store shelves were bare, too. We were fortunate enough to have a well-stocked pantry, so we donated and sent money to our local food banks. I know a LOT of us tried to help the best we could. But the Felon didn't.
