She's definitely openly supportive of me and I would say she's a liberal tbh. I do my best to radicalize her but there's some stuff she just doesn't fully understand. But I know she comes from a place of good faith. She just wants to unlearn what her own conservative parents taught her.

Even my mom is guilty of that sometimes lol but almost opposite. A lot of her church "friends" openly support tr*mp (shocker I know). But she won't confront them, just easier to never talk about politic with them. She just doesn't want to be kicked out of the church that she loves lmao 🤷🏻

That side of my family is really good at ignoring things that make them uncomfortable, things that may make them change their world view. They just don't wanna talk about "that kind of stuff."

He also has trusted my mom and me to know about his identity, at least passively because I don't really talk to him but I see his posts on social media. So I'm glad he does have supportive family (and friends too) but I'm sure the best his parents could ever do is "tolerate" it
