Back in 2017 when Metroid Prime 4 was announced, I knew I absolutely had to get a Switch just to be able to play it. 8 years later it's finally coming out, but now I can't afford a Switch 2. Is it worth getting now or should I wait for the better graphics?

PSA: despite having Epi-Pens my entire life, literally no doctor ever bothered to tell me the reason they come in 2-packs isn’t so you can keep the backup somewhere else, but because you might get in a situation where one pen doesn’t buy you enough time, and so you shouldn’t separate them.

We run a Haunted House with acting in FFXIV. This year had such amazing turnout and we appreciate everyone that joined us! I only wish we could have performed for more people, but after over 7 hours, 2 over when we said we'd end, we had to call it for the night.

If judges can refuse to officiate gay weddings, gay defendants should be able to refuse to be heard by those judges. If they can’t be compelled to perform the most heteronormative of functions, why would anyone believe they are capable of putting their biases aside for something with higher stakes?

I try to avoid "real organizers vs. fake/keyboard organizers" framings for the most part but one thing you learn quickly from organizing is how difficult it is to get people to do anything at all, how much you're competing against sociologically. people are overworked and tired
