#DaveBall died peacefully in his sleep at his #London home on Wednesday October 22, 2025. He spent the summer working on #SoftCell’s new album DANCETERIA scheduled for release in 2026. Bandmate #MarcAlmond said, ‘thank you friend for the music you gave me. I wouldn’t be where I am without you.’
Born in #Hillingdon UK, 20 yr old #StephenLuscombe played violin while pal #BrianEno played clarinet in experimental orchestra Portsmouth Sinfonia. He later co-founded UK #NewWave group #Blancmange. He died on September 13, 2025 at age 70.💔
