I feel that so hard. I’m so bad at deleting the long paragraph though.

I find that if I repress my sparkliness in order to take up less space, it leaves me resentful and more narcissistic. So I’m trying to find a way to be my full sparkly self while at the same time being more intentional about attuning to what other people need.

But narcissists are not the same thing as divas. What makes a narcissist toxic is not being loud and intense. It’s that narcissists cannot receive any criticism and project their shadow onto others.

It’s taken me 47 years to bloom into my full unicorn self. Unicorns are sparkly and theatrical and entirely wild animals. That’s how I am in my truest form. And people sometimes react to me like they think I’m a fucking narcissist for that reason. I often worry that I am one.
