She/Her. I have far too many cameras and books. I crochet sporadically. I'm a blue dot in a red state. I like cats, books, art, and crafts more than most humans. Some days my cats are assholes. Some days it's me.

Alternately, use a passcode on your phone and disable face and fingerprint recognition. It's been said that they can't obtain your passcode without a warrant.

If you can afford one, by a burner phone with cash for your trip, and do not connect it to your email and social media accounts. It'll be a pain to manually enter contacts that you want, but it might be the safest way to travel with a phone.

Dems better start using the sharp end of the stick if they ever regain power. We need to teach these assholes that we won't put up with this kind of nonsense ever again. Ever.

After his performance today, I'm more inclined to think that's the only way he can get laid. Sofa King!

Oh, I went down that rabbit hole when the book first came out. There are a couple of puzzles in the book that haven't been found or solved if memory serves. You might like this blog:

Yeah, but I'm not sure that a competency argument will succeed either. Conservatives like their toadies compliant and stupid.

Honestly, I'm not going to get all upset if Wikler gets it, as long as he burns the existing DNC down. Doing the same thing over and over again is stupid.

I'm in Iowa and so my relationship with the DNC is complicated. The last 3 or 4 DNC chairs have failed us. I stopped donating after the caucus fiasco. I'm cautious about getting too excited lest the new guy really just becomes same as it ever was.

It might have to do with the fact that he wants to get rid of the consultants and expand reach into all 50 states and not just the blue and swing states. He's basically promising to retool the party of the ground up and there's always a segment of the old guard who is going to be threatened by that

He's not from D.C. for one and he's promising to replace the consultants with organizers. He also wants to expand Dem reach to all 50 states and the 7 territories and make the state leaders a paid position. Plus Minnesota hasn't lost a state election since he's been running the party in MN.

zucchini chips are always delightful. Slice thin, dredge in flour and either deep fry or shallow fry in a frying plan. I sometimes grate and fry them like hashbrowns, but it does take a bit of time because they have so much water in them. You can eat them raw in salads. Make them into zoodles.

Ah, kittens. They are an unholy combination of toddlers and teenagers. The common sense (or absence of, really) of toddlers combined with the "you're not the boss of me" attitude of teenagers. The struggle is real. 😁
