NEW: Police bodycam footage introduced at the trial of Jared Wise showed him berating police officers on Jan. 6, 2021, and yelling "kill 'em" as rioters attacked law enforcement. He’s now working as a senior adviser for the Department of Justice.
Video shows Department of Justice official urging Jan. 6 rioters to 'kill' cops
The Department of Justice hired a former Jan. 6 defendant who was caught on tape urging rioters to "kill" police. The department calls him a "valued member" of the administration.

Buffett hoards cash, doubts linger. #econsky
Sometimes I wonder if I’m too pessimistic about current economic trends then I remember Warren “never bet against America” Buffett is just sitting on a third of a trillion dollars in cash instead of buying assets.

Canada can get 2 Saab Gripens for the price of ONE F35. They are more reliable and spare parts will be easier to get than dealing with America. Excellent choice !

Tariffs ⬆️ prices. Growth slows. Consumers spend ⬇️ 💵. Govt ⬇️ 62K+ 🏛️ jobs. Jobs ⬇️ further 📉. Stagflation = weak economy + rising costs. Fed stuck: raise rates = growth worse, cut rates = inflation worse. Tariffs + policy hurt 📉. Govt job losses hit spending, services & cities while 🇺🇸 suffer. #Econsky

These are the words of a man who has lived in so much privelage that he doesn't understand that being suddenly fired is a major life catastrophe for most people, not to mention their dependants.

Oh also he's from all reports I've seen a neglectful dad to his own 14 kids.
Counterpoints:

- Tesla has the highest fatality crash rates of any car
- Tesla busts unions
- He pushes for dangerous safety deregulations that’ll result in people being killed
- His DOGE is taking away the healthcare of millions and fired over 250k people over the last 56 days.

“The cost of tariffs isn’t just the cost of the tariff.”
One of my companies informed me they cancelled a $2m conference in Florida. Why ?

They didn’t feel they could pass on the incremental cost of tariffs. So they are cutting expenses.

That’s a city that lost a ton of tourism revenue.

The cost of tariffs isn’t just the cost of the tariff

1/ Musk says he’s dead but he isn’t. Social Security clawed back 2 months of benefits & haven’t sent more. “He called Social Security 2 or 3 times a day for two weeks, with each call put on hold and then eventually disconnected.” Finally he went down in person www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news...
I found a ‘dead’ person on Social Security in Seattle
“Dead” Ned Johnson turns out to be very much alive. It took him weeks to convince the system he was breathing and to start clawing his benefits back.

Trump and Musk are in competition for who can kill the most brands. Musk has killed 2 brands. Trump apparently said "hold my Diet Coke" while I kill every American brand.

Trump is singlehandedly widening the trade gap that he says he wants to shrink.

Canada is slashing its order of F-35 fighters from 88 to not more than 32. It will re-invest the billions saved to purchase 60 or more Swedish Saab Gripen E/F-39's. The USA is no longer a trustworthy ally. Simply.
