Once a symbol of US power and freedom, Radio Liberty is now forced to reduce toilets on the floors of its head office in Prague to conserve water and electricity.

To be honest, even in captivity, where I found myself for writing articles for Radio Liberty, we didn't line up for the toilet.

The Russian government has called on Putin to denounce the European Convention for the Prevention of Torture.
