It puzzles me in a way how this doesn't offend some of his base; in my experience, English people are much less fond of the US than the Irish.
No one can accuse Farage on not loving his country. It's just a shame it's the USA.

I am of the firm opinion that “gender-critical” transphobia is fascism. And not just “fascism adjacent” or “fascist enabling” but fascism front & centre.

Watching the receptionist at my doctors' surgery deal very patiently with a man chasing up a referral that seems to have gone astray, he with poor English, but beautiful manners and, the final touch, a bunch of flowers to brighten the place up. People can be good.

I never realised how much I appresicated the Irish ban on fireworks until I had to deal with the confluence of Halloween and Guy Fawkes here - and they're still fucking at it on 8th November.

I'm not sure I've ever said 'good man, Alan Kelly before ' but there's always a first.
As my local TD, I am glad Alan Kelly has taken a firm line on this. He included some of an email from parents in our youth club in his Dáil speech - the intersection of racism and ableism as experienced by children is horrendous. We have to fight against the normalisation of hatred and aggression.
Labour's Alan Kelly has hit out at the three largest political parties in the State, arguing that they have been "trying to ride both horses" in relation to immigration.
He also called for a public awareness campaign about the benefits of immigration.

Without Radios 1 and 6, Paul Marshall's son Banjo's group probably would have got nowhere.
If Reform won it would be an opportunity for Marshall to kill the BBC. He sees it through the lens of conspiracy theorists who were radicalised during the pandemic - as state propaganda. There is nothing the BBC can do to appease positions that aren’t reality based.
