Josh Acheampong has a much clearer pathway into the first team with Reece James' injury surge.

But I understand if he leaves, the damage may already be done.

I wrote this about Reece James and his future at Chelsea back in September.

Shame it's relevant once more.

The difficult question: What does Chelsea do with Reece James?
It seems that another lengthy spell on the sidelines is on the cards for the Chelsea captain, which raises some alarming concerns about his future at the club

I know he made our defense look like tissue paper in January, but with Reece James injured again, I think Chelsea should bring Conor Bradley in from Liverpool.

Especially if Trent signs the new contract at Liverpool and cements his place in the squad for the next few years.

Chelsea have already had to deal with a lengthy absence from their inconsistent captain through a combination of suspension and injuries.

If Reece James' latest injury is anything more than a week, it is time to consider his captaincy at the very least.

No shame in Chelsea buying back Tino Livramento

Not bad, but not great from Mudryk. Don't see him starting any PL games for Chelsea anytime soon.

Whilst Mykhailo Mudryk has *LOOKED* good over his last couple of performances, a lack of goal threat against decent opponents (sorry Noah) has left many wanting more.

The Ukranian can put his name on the scoresheet against Albania later today...

With Romeo Lavia unused over the international break, and Enzo Fernandez not returning to Cobham until 48 hours before kick-off, I think Renato Veiga and Moises Caicedo will start for Chelsea against Leicester on Saturday.

Caicedo is in the same boat as Fernandez, but the guy is a machine.
