This Christmas has been difficult; first one without my Dad and first with both my Mom and mother-in-law in residential care homes.

Day 2 of our #BenchToBedside #BiomedicalScience #DegreeApprenticeship workshops, today focusing on older adult care. Using age simulation suits to unpick the causes of common pathological presentations - falls, nutritional deficiency, dehydration etc

Kicked off our first #BenchToBedside #BiomedicalScience workshop today focusing on “Laboratory Medicine and Cancer”. After input from @astrazeneca.bsky.social and our service user panel, students tasked with responding to the key challenges raised by the @ibmscience.bsky.social Time to Test report
