"But he was starving. He was starving. The baby shrieked as large tears slipped down his cheeks, but a crimson-haired woman gently wiped them away with the back of her hand to soothe him. Even in infancy, he could feel the amount of love the woman had for him. It emanated from her like rays from the sun."
