🥶On 8/11/2025, North #Japan (especially #Hokkaido) experienced a strong cold spell for this time of year, with some stations having a Tmax similar to mid-December : Tmax at #Sapporo was 🌡️1.9°C, the coldest for this time of year (until 12/11) in 34 years (1.2°C on 5/11/1991).
