Interesting fact: #cycling with a trailer (~12 kg) with two babies (~8.5 kg each) feeling like a constant up hill with a grade about 2-3 degree.

Residential buildings in #Belgrade, former #Yugoslavia, built around 70th. I like these #brutalism elements of urbanism. What is cool is that this inner yard is ~5 meters above the ground, a space without cars. Feels like temperature is 5-7 degrees less here. Very important when it is 40C outside!

It is interesting that modernist architects of the former Yugoslavia did not know about #brutalism due to the Iron Curtain. They reinvented it by themselves independently coming to the idea that raw concrete is beautiful!

I like this idea of modernist architecture of 70s. So simple, so cool: let's just put the building on piloti (columns) and create for people protection from sun and rain. Especially when it is 40C outside in #Belgrade.

There is beautiful tradition in #Serbia to honor their dead by organizing and maintaining water sources along roads, so any traveller can fill their bottles.

I finally got a week of vacation! Of course it means a new #cycling trip!
The first day, from Valjevo to Perucac (Serbia). A quite hard mountain pass named Debelo Brdo is left behind! Tara National Park is the next goal!
