I've been playing around with LLMs and all this MCP stuff. I created an agentic workflow that connects @planifyapp, evolution and so on. It's pretty rad. It improved my productivity.

But, I find LLMs to be very fragile. If you change the LLM or update the LLM the flows break. I don't know how […]

@michaelcrider.bsky.social hey Michael, if I wanted to get on the "Dualboot Diaries" how would I go about doing that? I represent the Linux App Ecosystem that are composed of KDE and GNOME. (I'm a long time GNOME contributor) Would love to know. Thanks!

I appreciate him using his voice. But ranting and then sending letters is not going to help us here. There needs to be some clear actions that we can do collectively.

I hope that we can figure out the right way forward to support the rule of law and the constitution.
Booker: "This isn't just about Mr. Garcia. This is about every American understanding that this president is making an assault on the due process rights that are afforded to people in our country ... you cannot disappear people off American streets."

Helping the launch campaign of Eric McGuire who is running for Beaverton school district zone 2!

Political action always starts at the local level. Elect folks who will protect children's education and their safety.

Looks like traditional media is finding out that they can't do without liberal viewers. Considering the reporting.. but also keep in mind that the right wing can't do without liberal outrage.
We are the oxygen to their fire. We need to focus on our local politics and let congress figure it out. 1/?

I hope we will all enjoy the last few days of a sane federal govt before the shit starts raining.

Just remember, the media and conservatives need liberal outrage to complete the circuit. Don't give it o them.

One way to do that is to unfollow liberal boosters.

One of the more interesting things with our economy is how much cheaper tech stuff is compared to groceries. A 2TB SSD stick is $130 and that's like two grocery store visits. That was never a thing before.

While we’re banning books…

Finland is teaching children in school how to recognize fake news and propaganda as part of critical thinking and civic responsibility. Some of this will seem very familiar.

Be. Like. Finland.

Every time I read the local news and see a teacher who was awarded a $250 grant for her classroom, I understand that she spent hours of her own time applying for it. Writing it. Going through a submission process.

For $250. For her classroom…

I strangely don't have much to say on this site. Election kind of broke me and I don't feel like discussing politics. On mastodon, I spend time talking about FOSS and what not.

Any #linux and #gnome and Linux App Ecosystem people out there?

first post - howdy! :) I probably need to do some work here, I'm usually on mastodon, but I'll try to post here from time to time.

Folks, remember again that "block lists" on Bluesky are being used for mischief, by putting a lot of people on them and then giving them names that sound reasonable as people to block. Don't use them. Curate your own blocks - it's still small enough here to do that.
