Median wealth is 192k here which is a lot! Our median age is around 5-6 years younger than Europe and we have taken a lot more first-generation immigrants over time. Wealth inequality is real and a problem, but median wealth is very high!

Thanks for engaging in good-faith! I think that the average TA has to respond to the same question 100+ time or explain the same concept or correction, having a TA helper is useful. Sometimes TA's aren't available for profs, so this will help them spend more time mentoring students or researching.
