This rescue kitten has been brought to my door (I co-run a local cat rescue group). A foster has been lined up immediately because I should think if you spend more than 5 seconds with him you’d keep him. He is suffering starvation issues but otherwise seems ok. VERY CUDDLY!

A watched cat *never* births. I swear she’s planning to stay pregnant forever.

Trying to convince my partner that this box that needs to go to the tip is a performance art piece about the impact of single use plastics on native wildlife

I have seen that Jenrick, the Times and Daily Mail have been targeting expert immigration lawyer Greg Ó Ceallaigh KC, who is also a part time immigration judge (a deputy Upper Tribunal judge). A couple of quick points about the misinformation involved in this.

Chloe the foster cat is pregnant. I had been going to move her into the house with my cats (she matches their colour scheme - pictured 🤣) but I guess into a separate maternity room she goes.

Sparrows collecting dog hair for their nests just after I trimmed the dog outside. Might leave it til tomorrow to sweep it up.

Am in very London today and it’s cheerful to mooch about like a tourist (I’m from London but not living here now).

Helping a neighbour neuter the cats on her land. This lovely lady was five weeks pregnant so she’s gone to a maternity foster. Very exciting. She is beyond disgusted but hopefully this litter of kittens (probably something like her 10th) will be her last and she will have many child-free years ahead

It’s a hard life when you get two pieces of bacon so no one will believe you’re still really malnourished and hungry.

Did you know there’s a type of rainforest we have in the UK, esp on the Scottish West coast

I also have a wonderful cat fam. Volo, Pounce and Mary Shelley. They’re siblings who were rescued as feral kittens. Mary was trapped later than the boys so is a lot warier, but she loves the boys so much. Volo and Pounce think Radio is their big brother and cuddle him a lot.

My dog fam are the best. They are Arthur, Merlin and their puppy Radio Pendragon (Merlin is a girl and she’s Radio’s mam and Arthur his dad). They love beaches, cuddles and every type of food.

There’s definitely a look amongst local feral cats. These guys are Charlie (kitten) and He-Man the foster cats and Volo my former feral cat. I guess they’re probably all related in some way.

I seem to have ended up with a pet cat on the basis he’s going to be hard to rehome. He was a semi-feral but not doing well at all so I don’t think should go back out. But he’s also quite stinky and keen to throw the furniture around. Hopefully he’ll clean up 😅

I'm all for the Home Office pointing out that only regulated legal advisers can give immigration advice, but I'm less in favour or them forgetting that solicitors and barristers exist!

We perhaps didn’t try hard enough to train our pets they couldn’t sleep on the bed.

(Furthest pet is one a pet bed the same height as the bed made with pallets but still)
