It's amusing finding out a lot of people hyping this game up actually hadn't played the original and are now turning on it after seeing what it actually is. I was never a big Air Ride fan but if you did like that game it's pretty much that again with more stuff.

My one hour review: it's a Kirby Air Ride game, for better and for worse.

Also the game is bad. It's like someone said "what if we made Fall Guys but completely eliminated its bumbling nature that made it a hit and replaced it with everyone's favorite part of 3D Sonic games, screaming at the homing attack icon for not locking on to the right thing."

I saw an article claim Fall Guys was a very popular costume this year although it honestly seemed AI generated so I'm not sure it's that trustworthy. Still I was getting into lobbies quickly with my friend and they didn’t seem full of sweaty players playing for 5 years so at least a few are playing

However, the collision with players is busted to the point of frustration. There's some parts of courses that are perfectly fine offline that I absolutely detest online because you completely lose the ability to steer if someone looks at you badly due to the game's vehicle collision netcode.

There's sort of an enjoyment curve everyone goes through with the item balance where everyone feels it's balanced until legend rank and suddenly bagging appears to be stupidly broken. However, if you do really practice in time trials and find the right gadgets you realize it's not quite so broken.

To clarify I mean the Pikmin were made invisible for this release, the final release we'll see them.

Either way it's Pikmin related because the Pikmin theme is used in the score repeatedly.
