I feel like my opinion of #KirbyAirRiders is the same as the original: a mostly mediocre-to-ok racing game elevated by a mostly good City Trial mode, which I was hoping online would improve more than it did. This round did feel pretty great, though.

I am amused that the transportation system icon in City Trial in Kirby Air Riders is just straight up the World of Motion/ Transportation Pavilion logo at Epcot.

I've managed to climb my way up into the top 1000 ranked players in online play of #SonicRacingCrossWorlds. Obviously I'm still enjoying it but reaching further into the upper ranks it's clear the game's catch-up items (in particular drills) need some nerfing and the netcode needs a LOT of work.

After some discussion on a discord regarding this Crossworld, I went into time trials to fool around. A few hours later, I came out with a world record! I mean sure, it's during an exclusive early access period basically -1 days before the game came out but it says 1! #SonicRacingCrossWorlds

Update: The single player demo for #SonicRacingCrossWorlds launched (which I was playing since it has progression that carries over to the main game) and they actually did update this prompt to no longer sound as insane.

#SonicRacingCrossworlds Someone on another team disconnected and for some reason the game decided to clone me and placed the clone on the other team as a replacement. I'm proud of my team's 1st place tie, but it's a shame my team got 3rd.

I like #SonicRacingCrossWorlds, but I still can't over their decision to word the prompt to pre-order in a way that makes it sound like they threw it in your cart and hit checkout for you or something.

I feel like every milestone I hit makes me remember the dumb AI generated inspiration tab on YouTube. Looks like they really want me to talk about connected routes in Mario Kart World and the competitive meta. I think it's actually trying to sabotage me.

Rode Mine Cart Madness today. It's rough, the track jumping effect isn't convincing, the animatronics barely work, and the onboard audio was MIA. Basically been par for the course for this park sadly, about 20-40% of the effects in the park are broken at any given moment.

2 months later and it's time for my 2nd Super Nintendo World this time at Epic Universe in Florida. Still haven't ridden Mine Cart Madness but Mario Kart was still mostly enjoyable and Yoshi's Adventure was...honestly pretty terrible. Lots of effects not working which has been a park-wide problem.
