Since deciding to watch the x-files for the first time, I keep getting ads for medication for people 50+. It's hilarious to me that not only does it figure I'm old because I'm watching the x-files, but also that I've now confused The Algorithm.

So I'm noticing since I got off the horrible Bacefook that I've actually had significantly more focus and energy. I have a dissociative disorder, right? I never know how I feel. But the difference has been dramatic, and I'm actually surprised. I thought it was a subtle little thing.

It occurs to me that most platforms end up just reinventing basic television. Mindless videos, propaganda, and ads. That's what other social media apps do, it's what many streaming services do, and I'm sure it makes some short haired tech cultists in CA feel very clever, but it's not even original.
