The things I miss about living in South Florida is a pretty short list - although top 5 is definitely the cafecito (on the house) while you wait for your coffee+lunch order.

my out of office is on and i have packed all the shorts i own - this must mean i leave for florida VERY soon.
going for 6 weeks this time - with some side-trips to VA, MO (+strange loop), and CA (+qcon). it is going to be a very full-on few weeks!

Bookbinding is a stressful hobby for someone with anxiety. Sewing the spine took twice as long as I was panicking about having enough thread, looking up ways to connect more thread, etc - and finished with plenty left.
