I just finished Carrie's Legacy. This was an awesome book that is filled with essays from a bunch of authors on how Carrie influenced them, and it has an art gallery in the back. Plus it is a beautiful slipcased tome.

I just finished reading All Triggers, No Warnings, by John Everson, and boy oh boy, that was great. It is a collection of some pretty hardcore horror.

I finally did it! Going through my bookshelves, I found that the only Stephen King book I did not have a hardcover copy of was Doctor Sleep. I found this beautiful first edition copy at my favorite used bookstore, The Bookman in Orange, CA.

When I started @horrortom.bsky.social A Blade to Silence the Screams, I was not expecting a Western, but it worked really well. There was a lot of gory goodness. Very fun book.

Just finished @jonathanjanz.bsky.social Children of the Dark today. While I love a good psychological thriller, a good old fashion monster story is always a blast. This was a really great book and I was happy to find out there is a sequel.

The second great Stephen King find over the Thanksgiving weekend is a copy of the illustrated version of The Colorado Kid. As you can see it is much larger than the original version, which would be the same size as Joyland and Later.

So, this was a great Stephen King Thanksgiving weekend! I ordered a custom slipcase for my first edition copy of Billy Summers back in July of 2023. It was delivered the day after Thanksgiving.

I really enjoyed this book. The twist ending was totally not expected. Highly recommend.

I recently read Devil's Creek by @toddkeisling.bsky.social. This was a serious page turner. A crazy preacher and his cult try to cause havoc. Nothing worse than spoilers, so you are just going to have to read it yourself.

Today I am sharing some love for Stephen King's Fairy Tale. On the left is my first edition copy. On the right is the limited edition copy. I was really excited that I was able to get my hands on it. It is a beautiful book with gilded edges and illustrated end pages.
