That's a wrap on #Dispatch and oooooooooooh boi, that was one three-point-superhero-landing those last two episodes delivered!
The whole season is so meticulously paced and every episode delivered a unique experience that my expectations for the final episodes were super high but they nailed it. 👏🏼👏🏼

The wip sketches already inspired me ☺️ last weekend I sent my home group into an all-you-can-eat buffet style inn where the owner was "procuring new meats" for the buffet. A pestilence demon in the basement provided the recipes and served as the Chef.
My players hated it but I need to thank you 😀

There are worse things to start some vacation days with ☺️
If you're on your way through Frankfurt (Gamescom traffic to Köln is increasing 😅) and have half an hour to spend, go visit Aunty Zhong's for some amazing lamian noodles or dumplings 😊

This also gave me the chance to try out some 3D map tiles from @printableheroes.bsky.social so I could have the canvas's pictures actually hang from walls and remove them should the players go for the paintings instead of the creatures 😀

Inspired by @pathspeculiar.bsky.social's beautiful boulder trap I also found the perfect game mechanic in DELVE and it - literally - crushed the party's plans 😂

You can get the DELVE pdf through Kickstarter and I can't wait for the physical copy to arrive ☺️

Had a lot of fun plowing through @bobworldbuilder.bsky.social's DELVE and getting inspired by his creations for a little dungeon.
The creatures in it all have interesting mechanics, reward player curiosity and ingenuity while standing out uniquely from normal Monster Manual creatures 😀 Loving it!

Just finished @surgentstudios.bsky.social's Dead Take in one sitting and I gotta say: there was just the right amount of @samlakewrites.bsky.social in it, even though he wasn't sipping on a fancy cup of coffee 😊

It's absolutely stunning. I had the pleasure of visiting it in late 2019 and still think about it.

Trying to get tickets to the NFL Game in Madrid 😂 (got a ~13.000 queue spot on another device, so the hope is alive)

I think there's a reliable 0% chance that in the episode that has Joe Pantoliano on screen this callback to Bad Boys II was just coincidence 😂

I must have watched The Hunt for Red October almost two dozen times by now but only today did I spot the most important credits: Stanley, played by himself 😂

The way I was screaming out "OMG Spiderverse move!!!" here was so quick 😂
#SplitFiction is just amazing 😍

Introduced family & friends to the Divinity Board Game today and it was a blast 😊
With 4 players it really takes shape when figuring out character synergies and strategizing, it's sooooo much better than solo/co-op play.
Now we only need to find dates to play the campaign and not just the tutorial..

My ttrpg player resumé is basically just one fact:
I will champion the use of garlic in any way, form, situation and possible weaponization at any time.

Invite me to your games, I'll bring the spice(s).

Fantastic movie 😀
Nicole Kidman is just getting better every year, fully owning the runtime. Very surprised by Antonio Banderas' play as well, I want to see him in more roles like this even if his screen time is relatively short. But what they do with it is great.
Also: absolutely BANGER soundtrack!

Decided to end the year with one of my backlog movies: The Substance.
That the finale takes place on New Year's Eve is a strange and unexpected turn. Just like everything about this movie. What a trip. So worth it. I *really* hope I'll not dream about it tonight 😂

When you run a D&D One-Shot to end the year with joy and happiness, come up with happy little fish with happy little hands and feet, happily jumping out of the water only to be called out by your players with a quick artist rendition of the scene.
Love it. Thank you @marinalucia.bsky.social 🫶🏻

Welcome to the ☁️!
Where a day before Christmas you are "notified" that all your on-premise devices will not be able to install applications or run scripts in... ⌚ 4 days unless you get your IT security colleagues to update some firewall rules ON CHRISTMAS FFS.

With the massive disclaimer that I have no insight into operations at @discord_support let me say this: kudos for what seems to be a quick reaction to the account deactivation wave. However, the default messaging of "credentials/token might have leaked, set up MFA" isn't helpful.

Absolutely stunning!
I never realized how hard those lines can look until I flew back from Singapore and woke up just in time to see Afghanistan (somewhere between Kabul and Kandahar) from above. Snagged those 11 years ago with my phone.

Aaaaaand that's a wrap on Dragon Age - The Veilguard 😀
I absolutely loved it. Took me 73 hours to almost finish a 100% run (without guides, just natural exploration) including the "best" possible ending and I think this one is taking the crown for me in the Dragon Age series.
Absolutely fantastic!

#SecretLevel is shockingly really good! 😱
The episodes don't overstay their welcome, are quite distinctive and at times REALLY go into creative directions (PAC-MAN: Circle, oh boi I did not expect that one to wow me with it's choices), the visuals are STUNNING and the stunt casting actually works!

I've spent 36h in #DragonAgeVeilguard so far and it's definitely achieving Mass Effect 2 highs for me.
They're taking WILD swings with the lore which had me go "WAIT, WHAT?!" in the best ways possible and the companions are SO WELL WRITTEN!
