I see posts complaining that immigration features disproportionately on BBC news - that's because the news cycle is by convention created collectively by the media.
Back when newspapers had integrity, rather than political agendas, it might have been an acceptable practice. It isn't anymore.

Arguing over the amount of secretly-expressed fear is unhelpful - the litigation is more to the point. Trump is using any channel available, including but not limited to the courts, to go after his critics. It's clearly unprecedented and it's clearly authoritarian.

Ooh, his manner is aggravating!
I reckon Gillian Tett was considering throwing down there and then - and I bet she could take his posh, scrawny arse.

Has the world changed sufficiently yet that she's no longer seen as radical and the status quo is accepted to be extreme?
I suspect we've a way to go.

This problem is about BBC leadership and working practices.
We should be careful not to denigrate the idea of a public service broadcaster, because we'd be much worse off without.

This stuff is good. Because it's headline + picture - no need to read the details to uncover the lie - half of their audience will notice that you are in fact wearing the obligatory red poppy and their trust in GB News will be diminished.

I'm less comfortable with the nuclear weapons policy. Countries that don't have 'em clearly are not safer. Just ask Ukraine, who gave up theirs and were betrayed.
But it's a long road to disarmament and Trident is crap anyway. So this won't stop me voting Green.

Hello. I'm not a 40yo woman and I would never call myself a 'centrist', but I share your concerns.
Green Party policy is to work within NATO to achieve a greater focus on global peacebuilding and a commitment to a ‘No First Use’ of nuclear weapons.
