It’s such a good movie! I want to go back and watch for sure, I haven’t seen it in at least a decade but remember absolutely cracking up watching it.

Also - I have always wondered whether Vince thought Slaughter could re-ascend to the top of the card as a face, like if he thought we all had zero memory like the guy in Memento. It was mere months after he was burning the American flag on TV and accepting ring boots from Saddam Hussein himself.

Tape, good stuff as always. I was a religious WCW watcher so I knew Flair was a big deal, even if none of my friends and the WWF audience at large had no clue. This SS felt kinda minor league given the big time title match and Flair’s overlying impact on the proceedings. I dug it regardless.

Man, I wish. I’ve wanted a Lowrie jersey for years. I bought a bootleg from China but they strung me along for an entire year and never sent it. I did recently buy a blank I plan to get customized, but I haven’t executed that yet.
