I'm back from my horror movie hiatus after watching 39 movies in October. The next month will be spent catching up on releases I haven't seen yet this year so I can make my list of 5 favorites of 2025.

Between my ER visit and traveling for a funeral, I only worked one day last week. And while my coworkers have all been great, the truth is the corporate world and deadlines don't wait. I've written 4 stories and an internal email in just three days.

I put off listening to the whole record for an extremely long time. But, uh, Lucy Dacus' "Forever is a Feeling" is probably going to be on my top 5 favorite records of the year list. It's a cold weather record, for sure.

VHS Halloween was excellent. A nice rebound because I didn't think last year's VHS Beyond was stellar, but I'm just not a big sci-fi fan so it was always going to miss the mark for me. Home Haunt and Fun Size are the MVPs for me this year.
