It’s weird to think of being good enough at something to try for an award for it.

So I downloaded a packet of free images from TPT to use as writing prompts and, uh, first of all I’m pretty sure they’re all AI and second of all, that’s a Stargate. Not even in the generic sci-fi sense (they used the term on Buck Rogers too, for instance) but a STARGATE Stargate

Haven’t seen SNW yet because we spent the day celebrating Disneyland’s birthday (my brother has been there to sing Bally birthday to his favorite place every year from the 50th to now, excepting the 65th, 66th, and 67th due to closures and then not starting our APs right away)

I make zipper pull keychains every year for my students — to label their pencil cases (it’s the only thing that has EVER lasted all year that’s also removable so I can reuse the cases) and as a memento for the year. This year’s design is a shooting star.
