Lines/veils has been audibly brought up in games I've played once or twice. Most recent example was a player who had drawn a line at spiders - and reminded us when it came up later in the campaign, months after the line had been established and existed, until that time, undisrupted

Legit came out of our discussion like "my entire outlook on board game has just changed", and that's, like, Tuesday for Cole

A reminder that I will keep shouting about this band until I am forcibly removed from the stage www.wargamer.com/dnd/castle-rat
As a DnD Dungeon Master, Castle Rat is the band of my dreams
Dungeons and Dragons fans struggling for inspiration should check out Castle Rat, the doom metal band that stepped out of an 80s D&D setting.

I always buy a Blu Ray of my favorite movie of the month. So congrats to Invasion of the Body Snatchers, you slapped.

THE FINAL DAY HATH COME. 31/31. THE END IS NIGH.
I watched Raw. A film that really dives deep into the classic taboos of horror cinema. Lustful, gross, vaguely incestuous coming of age film. Really enjoyed it.

Day 30/31 was Martyrs
The kind of film where you need to take breaks because it's just 1.5 hours of non-stop violence and bleakness. The plot was a bit all over the place, but it tried to address big topics. That and the lead performances kept me interested. I enjoyed it, but it's not 'fun' at all

Day 29/31 was The Blob
Honestly I was pretty pleasantly surprised by this one. An utter cheese fest, but one with fun special effects and actually quite likeable protagonists

Day 28/31 was Funny Games
For an incredibly bleak home invasion movie, I had a lot of fun with the meta narrative. A late-stage favourite in this month's marathon.

Day 27/31 was Cuckoo
An out-there, interesting concept with an incredibly dull delivery. There was never a moment where I really cared for the characters or what might happen to them.

Day 26/31 was The Black Phone
Ethan Hawke once again having a jolly old time in a horror movie. Some interesting threads in this one about masculinity and male role models, but it didn't follow through on those in the most elegant way

Day 25/31 was As Above So Below
I wasn't really a fan of Dowdle's previous movies (like The Poughkeepsie Tapes), but this one was a little quirky and a lot of fun. The plot isn't all that innovative, but watching people get claustrophobic in the actual Paris catacombs is certainly creepy

On my own time is the easiest way to recharge, but I also have a few people in my life who make socialising feel natural and energising. A partner or a friend who you trust enough not to mask and who encourages that part of you that enjoys info dumping and parallel play and other happy activities

That sounds like my experiences, including the part about talking with other neurodiverse people. The shared diagnoses isn't a guarantee that they'll respond well to my unmasked self. They might care less about details like eye contact, but I'm still catering to their needs rather than my own
