Why are these tech scams just constantly getting worse and one upping each other for how awful they can be? Crypto, NFTs, AI... It's a steady race to the bottom and every time I think we're near the end, it just keeps picking up speed.

The AI bubble needs to pop. It's making things worse for everyone but the investors. So many tech parts shortages and price increases because everything's going to fucking AI. Electricity being hogged. Pollution. Replacing people's jobs.
Fuck AI and those pushing it.

I don't know what caused it, but youtube's started recommending me Ska covers of music. The Inspector Gadget cover may be better than the OG, even iconic as the OG is.
I am definitely okay getting more of this lol.

I'm thinking of narrowing my streams down to just retro games and horror games. Having a bit more focus instead of just doing whatever, but maybe having a wildcard night every now and then for doing whatever, but not the focus.

I don't really like minecraft's 'drop' system for updates. I prefer larger patches to get excited over, the smaller, more common game drops break mods more often and just don't bring enough content to get hyped about. I basically have to wait a year or two worth of drops to feel like there's enough.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

I want turn based RPGs to become more popular again. The few modern big name ones i've played have been great but there's so little choice in them now compared to ye olden days.
Hopefully EX33's popularity will cause a new wave of turn based RPGs. I would be so happy.

Just finished watching The Grudge. Watched the OG it was based on, Ju-on, last week. Not 100% sure why The Grudge was made.
The Ring adapted the movie to the audience while still being faithful to the story. The Grudge is just shot for shot like 90% the same movie as Ju-on.
