A very messy workstation with block prints of the one piece flag on red cardstock. Vive la revolución Another messy workstation of some blue cardstock witb several stamps of the head of a tuxedo cat. They aren't cut out. Sitting on top is a pink rubber block, partially carved and un-inked. It's going to be a stamp of a wild rose flower.

Now that it's not October anymore. I drew a pumpkin head.

Digital art of a ghostly purple raven standing on a branch and fading into swirling smoke. He has a keg around his neck, like st Bernard mountain rescue dogs do.

Sketch for the spock enjoyers out there
A messy pen sketch of spock from Star Trek: The Original Series, played by Leonard Nimoy. In the ref photo I used, his expression is almost flirtatious, but I don't think I captured that. In my sketch, he looks like a smug asshole: looking down and smiling. But that's a common Spock expression, so I'll take it. He's wearing a bathrobe or housecoat or something over his uniform. I used a blue-gray pen.

Spec'ing into copic markers early on was the best worst decision I've ever made
I knew none of the drawbacks, but I knew I liked how they looked! And they do look mighty fine. Great to sketch with, too

It's the "underpainting" for the next image, and is therefore unsigned. The same man from the previous picture, fully colored, on a white background. His hat and shirt are still yellow, and his vest, feather, and hat band are still teal, but there's more depth. And I used many, many more colors lol. His hair is a dark blackish brown, as are his eyes, and his skin is a light peach. In My Opinion, his expression looks a little more sullen and guarded. He's outlined with a dark teal for emphasis, and the piece is signed "ori 6/13/25", with a heart dotting the "i". I photographed it with a beam of sunlight hitting the paper diagonally to highlight his eyes and cheek; hopefully to put the part of his face shaded by his hat under relative "shadow". Idk how well it worked.

I just wanted to contribute to the cat pics! This is Big Minnie, and the last image is her son, Sid (cousin's cat). We found her hanging out with a male with a very similar coat pattern (lavender lynx point? Blue lynx point? Her toe beans are brown), and she had babies in my uncle's window well.

Painted some lavender last night
I'll do one for violets next
They've always been two of my favorite flowers, any symbolism aside.
A wood round, held in my hand, with a cluster of lavender flowers painted on it. They surround a circle painted with concentric rings of black, gray, white, and purple, to represent the asexual flag. The green from the lavender's stems and leaves also evokes the aromantic flag, and in itself, lavender is symbolic of queerness. There is a hole drilled in the top of the round, and a hemp string is tied through it. Posca markers on my desk are visible behind my hand and the wood.

Cat and fish tax
My cat, Big Minnie, sprawls tummy-up on my teal office chair. She's a blue point lynx balinese or something like that. I'd be more confident if her nose (pink) was the same color as her toe beans (black/gray). And if she didn't come from my aunt's window well lol. She's very cute, and her eyes are about the same color as my chair :) A blue paradise fish on a background of dense green foliage with some brownish orange leaves in the foreground. There's some grime and dead snail shells on the sandy substrate, and he's hovering above a a small, empty Terra cotta pot. His tank mates, kuhli loaches (apparently named after a guy named Kuhli and not a slur?) love killing snails. Snails are their favorite food lol. I don't have an excuse for the nasty substrate lol Btw the color morph is called "blue", he isn't particularly blue here. He's a lot more blue now, and has orange stripes :)

I finally got some traditional sketching done Just for Fun :)

Two of my ocs, one Alucard Castlevania
A very messy rough sketch of my oc in inky orange pen on white dotted grid paper. It shows a little more than a bust shot. They have pointed ears, short horns that are broken off, short cropped hair, thick eyebrows, a long nose, a strong jaw, and 3 long scars across their right side of their face. They're wearing one of the Shadow Dragon mage armors from Dragon Age: Veilguard. The really fancy one with a scarf and a snake on the chest. A very messy rough sketch of one of my ocs in orange pen, on white paper with a dotted grid. He has long pointed ears, a button nose, thick eyebrows, a round face with a strong chin, shoulder-length wavy hair, and a scar on his right side of his face. (It's pretty hard to tell that's what that is, though. The sketch is MESSY messy.) It's a bust shot, and he's wearing a high collared shirt. A very messy, barely legible, sketch in inky orange pen, of Alucard from Castlevania. I can tell what's going on in it, but I'm probably the only person on earth who can. It's a bust shot, and he's looking 3/4 to the right. He has a long, sharp nose to match his long, sharp teeth, which he shows in a sweet smile. His eyes are soft, and framed in long lashes. He has thin, arching eyebrows that help show his amusement.

Painted a shrimp!!
I wish I didn't hate using Actual Paints on Palettes so much; it's lowkey so much nicer to use a brush than it is to use a bullet tip marker.

This one is and always will be a banger though. Based it off a photo I took of my betta and his reflection

The "I" is dotted with a heart. It's, imo, very obvious that I did Not use the symmetry tool for this, and that was intentional. I wanted the reflection to look dream like. Fun facts: the fish who "modeled" for me was a Glo-Fish betta, a type of fish that is genetically modified to fluoresce under a black light. I didn't have a black light, so he was just a very bright and unnatural golden yellow. I don't remember if he was labeled as a male or a female, but his pelvic fins (the ones on the bottom at the front) look too long to be a female, so I'm referring to him as a male.

Had my sibling take apart a wooden cat toy that the cat Did Not care for, because it was made of nice wood and I wanted to try out my poscas. Her name is Big Minnie.
