thumbs up, blue skies, green grass all day

basically a reply guy but I make my own stuff sometimes. I am 25.
youth here, me personally I’d rather drink in the comfort of my home than risk driving under the influence should I choose to go out to drink.

A few beers at a bar with friends doesn’t really compare to a few beers at the apartment with friends. It’s just cheaper too!

Those two (+the other two) are going to posture themselves as the most trustworthy people in the GOP going forward.

I am sure they have found their offramp from Trump as the “saviors of the Republican party” by being the first four to vote with the Dems against him.

You really are the only guy with a legit finger on the pulse of the voting populaces. Most pollsters and analysts accept lazy answers to explain trends but I appreciate that you always dig deeper.

50+1 has been really really great too as a SIN reader.

Chilis was the lucky chosen viral fad on TikTok for the triple dipper alone. I would not be shocked if this is a majority college and other young adults going to Chilis more often for FOMO reasons.

I’d still like to think the people yearn for sitting in at a restaurant, especially a cheaper option.

“The free market is prevailing despite the central planners' well-intentioned but misguided tariff policies.”

This is such a kind and backhanded way of saying this.

“Tariff costs (a tax) are having an impact of slowing down economic activity in all sectors.”

This is closer to true feeling lol

I’ve read (not sure how substantiated this is) a prominent trader with a lot of money invested into this has taken their own life. There was a previous incident almost a decade ago when a YouTuber with a massive inventory got banned by Valve and drove his car onto the opposite side of the road.

You also couldn’t list any skin on the Steam Market past $1800 and a LOT of skins rose past that price point. Valve has made moves in the past to restrict gambling websites but they’ve always been ineffective or quickly reversed once the noise got loud enough.
October 23, 2025 at 3:46 PM
I’d assume this change was because it was a wildly unregulated environment they had no control of past the official Steam Market. Most people didn’t want to use the Steam Market because of the % cut Valve took from sales and so third-party trading or gambling sites were thriving.

Theres also a lot of people who invested millions of dollars into their inventories. Chinese traders often used the skins as a private stock market and I’m sure they’re very upset about this change. Some skins had become so unattainable because their price was driven up so high.

Several Valve employees were also caught buying 300-400 of these lower priced red tier for ~$5-6 ahead of this change. They’re now being valued around ~$50 each.
October 23, 2025 at 3:37 PM
Previously the highest tier of weapon skins were not highly valued and have now shot up in price. With this change, Valve has completely nuked the skin market and wiped out nearly $3 billion from the market cap.

When I watch TV I try to take note of the intended age demographic for the advertising of that channel to see who they understand to be their primary demographic.

That being said, I agree, y’all don’t really have ANYTHING catered to you nowadays.

had an excellent time reading the whole thread, what a show of anger and lack of knowledge

“Some fear the outcome if he’s overlooked”

Genuinely what could the outcome be beside whining on truth social

I get its easier to disregard all of sports both intellectually and emotionally (to which I think people are depriving themselves of a fun shared experience with people unlike themselves)

but man its awfully performative for a lot of these people to disregard it the way they do
