To celebrate Week Without Driving (September 29-October 5), Spokane Reimagined constructed and distributed a bus bench to each of Spokane's 29 neighborhoods.

Yesterday, members of Spokane Reimagined presented the Spokane Transit Authority Board of Directors with the proposal "Moving Forward, Together" our vision for increased local investment in public transit and safe streets infrastructure.

Yesterday, Spokane Reimagined took our message demanding safe streets back to Bloomsday.

We were overwhelmingly thanked for our advocacy - PEOPLE WANT SAFE STREETS.

The more we talk about how dangerous our infrastructure is, the harder it is to ignore.

At last night's Spokane Reimagined meeting, we brainstormed what an immediate response to traffic fatalities could look like.

Our proposed solution, Vigil Cones, would stand vigil over the location until a more robust adaptive solution could be designed and implemented.

Spokane Reimagined proposed our first resolution for the Spokane City Council's consideration this week.

We recognize that it is extremely difficult for council members to be on top of every issue in our community.
