It’s not IMPOSSIBLE to get staff somewhere, it’s just not the usual. If you crave career stability this is def not the career for you. But if you’re a chaotic gremlin like us and don’t mind hustling and jumping around then you will thrive! It’s exciting and rewarding but it’s not for the weak!

It’s not IMPOSSIBLE to get staff somewhere, it’s just not the usual. If you crave career stability this is def not the career for you. But if you’re a chaotic gremlin like us and don’t mind hustling and jumping around then you will thrive! It’s exciting and rewarding but it’s not for the weak!

characters to life. And most of the time we’re doing it while being EXTREMELY LIMITED by the rig and tech we are given. Anyways, please give your local 3D animator a hug cause garuntee they are going through it constantly getting shit on in every animated film’s comment section.

in order to achieve what a 2D animator can just DRAW. I have mad respect for 2D and their brilliant brains, but I also think us 3D folks deserve so much more credit than we are given! This job is hard, and we also pour our heart and soul into every performance to bring

characters on model at all different angles. As a 3D animator you have to be more tech savvy, as you will be fighting the computer the whole time. We both use the principles of animation, but a 3D animator cannot simply draw the beautiful pose in their head. We have to cheat the rig in ungodly ways-
