All you have to do is copy Optiscaler folder contents and a single DLL compiled from AMD's leaked int 8 version of FSR 4 into the game folder with the exe.
Execute a batch file included with Optiscaler and answer 4 questions and you're good.

My results show a nearly identical framerate to FSR 3 quality using FSR 4 balanced, with all foliage shimmering and most distant artifacting removed. I tested with 7900 GRE, but it seems everything from the 7700 up bears similar results.
Installation into a game is very straight forward.

For anyone with an AMD 7000 series RDNA3 GPU, I've tested optiscaler FSR 3 > FSR 4 conversion, and the results were surprising.
I'll only use upscalers in two games, but one of those, Cyberpunk 2077, the image quality using balanced preset was better than the image quality using FSR 2 and 3 quality

Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition has been removed from my Library list as well, just not there. I can find it with a search but it's greyed out like it's hidden.

For a lot of folks, it's their favorite. Mine will alway be X but I can't even tell you why, the game reads like it was translated wrong.

Midi ia a powerful tool that gives us access to any instrument.
I play guitar and a good third of all the songs I've made were done the same way you said in midi, note by note, layer by layer, but I had a music keyboard.
I've done whole compositions with just a mouse and a midi piano roll though.
