Amazon has had many opportunities to create dubbing projects filled with authentic storytelling, emotional connection, and believability. Instead they have chosen to create AI slop dubs of Banana Fish, Vinland Saga, and No Game No life. Many are calling these dubs "insulting" and "disrespectful".

I also think we cannot over look the fact that Banana Fish is a queer series beloved by queer people and women. It's beloved, it's iconic, but it's not the mainstream success Demon Slayer is. They chose do take their chance here with a project loved by minorities 'cause they don't care about us.
In a world where Demon Slayer owned movie theaters, broke multiple records in the US, & had its English dub praised in every corner of the internet, it's wild a company could even consider doing a full on AI dub. It's like a captain drilling holes in the ship right as it gets into port.

Even if Amazon removes the anime AI dubs I don’t see them bouncing back from this especially if professional VAs and translators no longer feel their shows are safe to work with and fans will feel further justified in pirating the shows they license that they won’t bother to subscribe now.

tl;dr: Only CEOs want this. Tell them how much you hate it. Be loud, email, call, @, post. You will kill this.
