NYC, WTA dubs. We need to codify norms as they have been eviscerated.
Covid was a big reveal on who were being socially conscious in a performative way and who had the values to help their neighbors _when it was not zero cost_ to them.
Nimbyism is very similar and revealing.

You should have someone drive in a lot and watch for the brake lights when they use regenerative braking. There is no standard for how much regen activates the brake lights and as much as it's fun to hypermile being someone on the road who seems to be constantly on/off the brakes is a bit dangerous

100% agreement. The general public notices airport slowdowns, park closures etc etc. they are only tangentially aware of bigger policies. Making things personal is how to communicate better. Find people who are affected and can attract attention. “Trump stops kid cancer treatment” works all day

Nuke filibuster is not an A/B choice. They just change the rules so it only applies when government shutdowns exceed 30 days.
Let’s them have it both ways.

Schumer du a bad job messaging by decrying the deal rather than reinforcing the awfulness of the administration. Pivot and assign blame is the mantra of a successful minority.
