Still kind of shocked that more people didn’t talk about this scene. The way Helly presses her cheek against Mark’s and intertwines her fingers with his. She closes the space between them with no hesitation, cherishing the time left because in her mind she’s about to lose him forever. #severance

I kind of hate myself for not realizing that the stairwell exit is the Equator for Mark S and Helly. They both kept their promise, and I’m tearing up again. Cold Harbor may just be the best hour of television ever conceived. #severance

And on the flip side, Mark S is not going to get fooled by Helena again. Just look at how he looks at Helly and knows it’s her. He reaches out to Helly and with one final look, knows he’s made the right choice. Mark S knows Helly, through and through. #severance

Seeing posts bringing back the Helly is actually Helena in this moment, and I’ve got to ask, are we watching the same scene? No way does Helena look at Mark S like this after realizing he chose her. And that parting glance is just that. A passing glance. Helly is genuinely happy. #severance

I’m still shaking over that ending. I don’t think I’ve seen love this pure in ages. People getting upset at the choice, but for Mark S, there was never a choice. The only answer was Helly. It was always Helly. #severance

Love the symmetry in this scene. Helly initiated their first kiss and Mark initiated this kiss when Helly started to doubt herself when she asks if it was different with her compared to Helena. No hesitation on Mark’s part. He knows who he wants. #severance

The #severance writers deserve massive credit for having Mark ask Helly for consent. It’s such a beautiful scene, because it’s just the two of them in that moment. No Helena. Just them.

I love this shot so much. Helly is clearly defined because she knows her feelings for Mark are true while Mark is partially obscured because he has no idea who he’s speaking with, so of course he’s having trust issues. *chef’s kiss*. #severance
