Politics, history, music, pets & walking around looking at stuff.
Looks like the good bit from a boring Apple + show. Clockwise; Stellan Skarsgård, Camilla Parker Bowles and the back of the late Ronald Pickup’s head.

There’s been a few of them over the decades. All of them missing the point. I think ‘Zit’ might have even been a Murdock owned project.

When they moved to the shop they turned Matthew into an absolute arse. He was previously pretty chill.

Incontinence. It’s been talked about for some time now.

That poor guy.

Bafflingly popular. Drags with overlong scenes and ‘on the nose’ homages. Whole film seems to dine out for free on the genuinely good opening scene but then Waltz goes on to play exactly the same character for the rest of his career.

What truly dreadful and self defeating messaging.

No one knows what happens to him in Ethiopia for certain. What is certain is that his full 12 month sentence here couldn’t have been served. Kinda puts a question mark, at least, against the whole obsession with deportation as a fix for everything.

Pipkins, the Wicker Man & Witchfinder General are often referred to as the holy trinity of British folk horror. Glad you’ve done this.

I think it’s high time that she was immortalised in Bronze on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square.

It’s run by a clique of racist old Etonians?

Poor old Charlie Chaplin. Tbf Leicester Square is now a bit kitch/tacky (as per your preference) like that so it’s on-brand if not particularly newsworthy. I’d personally like to see a bronze statute of Danny Glover on the toilet in Lethal Weapon 2. Just for contrast.

You could say there were certainly ‘British’ monarchs if not monarchs of Great Britain or the U.K.
