Sobering subject w/ a dash of black comedy. Victor's directorial debut is a stunner. All I could think of was brunette Peggy Bundy when Cher was on screen. Wonder Boys was solid, great cast. An alien injects people with heroin to rob their high. That's just rude.

Sobering subject w/ a dash of black comedy. Victor's directorial debut is a stunner. All I could think of was brunette Peggy Bundy when Cher was on screen. Wonder Boys was solid, great cast. An alien injects people with heroin to rob their high. That's just rude.

Good world building but it stretches for too long. I love Rickman's role so much. It's a dream limbo world when Leo grows old with a woman his age. Family life is complicated, amazingly portrayed here, great cinema. Adolescence was eye opening. Talk to your kids.

Jazz playing means it's gonna be decent noir, China Moon was indeed decent. Enjoyed the ending of Black Christmas quite a bit. Of course Rapaport would have an AI girlfriend in a movie made 25 years ago. Violent and gory with zero story, Terrier disappointed.
