The last proposal for sharks has just passed at #CITESCoP20. Gulper Sharks have been adopted into Appendix II of CITES.
This marks a major victory for sharks and rays as all proposals have been adopted!

All this “hype” about the zombie apocalypse but seems to us like we’re already living through it- A LOT of you are so dead inside you can’t even be moved to speak out against genocide, ICE kidnappings or basic human rights being stripped from the entire country… 🧟🧟♂️

The conservation space is and has been full of fakes since it’s unethical creation.
Caring for the planet isn’t a weekend hobby, wildlife isn’t a trend, genocide isn’t something you should be able to scroll past, not something you should feel fine about ignoring no matter the field you represent
