Every accusation from the White House is projection. For all the times the media is accused of doing things "for clicks", the current administration essentially operates like an influencer chasing engagement clout. So yeah, it's not crazy to think something like this would've happened before Monday.
Duke's loss may have spared us the horror of an in-game ICE raid on the Alamadome on Monday. Can't rule out that kind of political stunt in this climate.
