got one of those, the rest in my yard are blue.4 years ago we put in a French drain stirred up the dirt and then last spring this pops up. I read that deeply buried tubers will crawl to the top, call me crazy or it's an old wives tale it could have been buried for years...sincerely, an old wife

I thought you meant is his statement true, (haha it isn't just in case) but yes some people will say anything and I just really hope he doesn't believe it or he's worse off than I thought he was

I do live in the south, however we do have weather in the twenties. My parsley is going on its second winter and it's not in the ground it's in a pot on the deck ... talk about resilient!

I didn't know it mattered what different trees mushrooms grow on... obviously I don't harvest them !

Hey thanks for the memory jog! We had a dachshund that was champion at stealing food... even to the point of making a flying leap across 3 of us on the couch where we're sitting with our pizza, waving it in the air while talking. He grabbed the whole piece out of my hand and kept on going! 😂

Brought tears to my eyes that's lovely!! I miss my little boys so much... I mean the little part; they're in their thirties. It's not quite the same ;-) but don't tell them I said so!
