After you watch his Kobayashi/Kurosawa work, I recommend THE WOLVES, a yakuza drama with Leone-esque ambition about Nakadai realizing the systems of honor he's devoted his life to are a sham, usurped by coldblooded 20th century capital. Some of his very best work.

Watched the pilot of Miami Vice for the first time (god-tier)...no one told me that the Girls Just Want To Have Fun needledrop is just as good as the In The Air Tonight needledrop.....
