Forward progress with #fsharp for #javascript with CloudflareFS. Three sample projects: "HelloWorker", "R2WebDAV" which is a port of the TypeScript project I updated, and a "Simple-CLI" that manages them both via management API (No TOML, no wrangler). @cloudflare.social github.com/speakeztech/...

🤔 "Why are you so focused on low-level memory operations in a functional language?" Here's the thing: We're not abandoning high-level abstractions. We're making them work everywhere 🎯

🍰 #fsharp don't sleep on FSharp.UMX. It's a one-pager library that changes everything. Having non-numeric units of measure is one of those things that once you see it, you can't un-see it. And zero-cost abstractions are the icing on the cake.

This is a bit of #fsharp fun that leans a bit into #javascript - trying to get SPA style behavior out of a lightweight MPA using FlightDeck. The key is marking up areas of the page with IDs to use the morphdom JS library to manage the page transitions.

"F# is not better for systems or embedded or game programming"
To that statement, we would assiduously disagree... 😉

With a hat-tip to @sirhamy.bsky.social for the hedgehog inspiration we've come up with a logo and name for our MLIR-to-LLVM compilation process.
Meet #fsharp "Firefly" 💡

We're still not seeing it (yet) maybe CDN propagation to the US?
One of the reasons we've made the choices over a hard fork of Fornax is to make it as sympathetic to SAFE(r) stack as we could while preserving the Hugo/Jekyll CMS-lite conventions that make them so handy. bsky.app/profile/spea...

Here's a pass using self-contained settings. It seems like something is wrong in the approach. That number doesn't look right.

Having more #fsharp fun with our "Systm2" platform. We're using Akka.NET actors to spawn visualization agents using data out of free-running @duckdb.org agents (for each regional data set). Some rough edges to smooth out, like adding some nuance/labeling to tooltips, but it's really coming together.
