MSU Spartan alum. Husband, Dad, and son to a WWII combat veteran. The fucking fascist GOP will not stand. I swore two oaths in my lifetime. One to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. And my wedding vows. Courage friends
Tonight I reflect on my father’s Naval service (1943-46). I’m glad he didn’t live to see what we have allowed the US to become. MAGA is a cancer. We may get it under control. But this is what post war Germany must have felt like.

Corporate Media is going to pretend that Trump is heartbroken about the two West Virginian National Guardsmen being shot in DC, but the entire point of moving a standing army into a peaceful city was to induce violence by The People to justify more violence by Trump on The People in retaliation.

This is not just a current political issue. Charging & punishing these particular perpetrators is vital to keeping the fight against the ongoing abuse & killing of women & children by men in the spotlight. "Me Too" was only a start.

The draft dodging idiot posted a pic of this West Point plaque. It contains these words:

“Our American Code of Military Obedience requires that, should orders and the law ever conflict, our officers must obey the law.”

That is precisely what Senator Mark Kelly told officers to do. #NoSedition

Breaking: An Epstein survivor just silenced press conference attendees when she delivered the following remarks:

“Today we stand in a moment that will decide whether our government belongs to the American people, or to those who prey on them.”

Let me game this out: House votes to advance EFiles. Senate is 50/50 on passage. But I doubt there are 66 votes to override a veto. Trump will start a war with Venezuela if he has to. DOJ will open investigations and claim files cannot be released at this time. Drag out until midterms, rig map.
November 15, 2025 at 10:45 PM
Trump will illegally declare war against Venezuela sometime soon to stop Epstein files. The first casualty of war is the truth. Only 2 ways he leaves office: He dies while in office or impeachment. Is GOP scared enough of him to do it? I would suggest resignation, but a malignant narcissist won't.
November 15, 2025 at 7:28 PM
So what is the DOJs play? They are setting up to deny Epstein file release bc Clinton is under active investigation?
November 15, 2025 at 2:51 AM
What am I missing? All the Epstein emails contain few capitalizations of proper nouns and punctuation. WTF? They all write terribly.

Either that or a Pulitzer Prize

Thank you Julie K! 👏👏👏

it's something that's not exactly current events or new reporting... but nevertheless relevant food for thought given the news we're in.

Nonviolent protests are twice as likely to succeed as armed conflicts – and those engaging a threshold of 3.5% of the population have never failed to bring about change.

Last week, the Indiana University administration asked their student newspaper not to print any news stories in the Homecoming edition. When the faculty advisor refused, IU fired him and ended paper printing. So students at the Purdue paper printed the IU edition and drove it down to Bloomington!

The special edition blasted across town features columns from IDS and Exponent editors, alongside QR codes to support both student papers.
