Just so it's clear. It's not allowing AI because it's trying to create a clean dataset for training AI. It's not because any of the involved parties actually care about human created art.

Just so it's clear. It's not allowing AI because it's trying to create a clean dataset for training AI. It's not because any of the involved parties actually care about human created art.

The new sole developer is extremely pro-AI, has already started using it in the code, and is in support of its use for genAI images as well. Everyone who protested this was told to leave the server and stop using SAMMI.

Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.
They try to downplay this on the Steam store page by describing the AI usage as vaguely as possible.

That being said, tonight's distraction was re-watching about 40% of The Phantom of the Paradise
Biggest ADHD tragedy I experience is getting deeply involved into working on something, really feeling the flow, n' getting a lot done
only to get distracted by the smallest thing, and now suddenly I can't re-enter that focus state, so I just have to give up for the night 😔
